These were also made available on download/streaming platforms for the first time. Six albums of Mimi's were re-issued on CD recently: "Orange Sky - Endless Summer" (1978), "Sea Flight" (1978), "Coconuts High" (1981), "Nuts, Nuts, Nuts" (1982), "Tropicana" (1983) and "iK.i" (1989). There's also been word that Kero Kero Bonito will be doing a remix too. Stay tuned! The next EP of remixes will be released on January 12, with remixes by tofubeats, Korean producer T.WON, and SKYTOPIA. The "Mimix EP.1" features Kenmochi Hidefumi (Wednesday Campanella, xiangyu), 3ASiC (a trackmaker from China), and Osaka producer Limited Toss. Following her rebooted self-cover of "Lum no Love Song" last month, the song's composer Izumi "Mimi" Kobayashi now brings a digital EP of its remixes by other artists. ![]()
